A United front against late payments by newspapers groups

The letter has been sent to Ministers and to major media in Paris to draw attention to the catastrophic payment situation in the press value chain.

As an example, arrears of the under-signed against the groups Le Monde and Altice Media build up to 500.000 €.

It’s nothing compared to the turnover of these groups. It’s nothing compared to the State’s subsidies they receive. It is a fortune for those agencies and their photographers. If the situation continues, some will not be able to survive 2017.
