Creating a CEPIC Community: Announcing the SOFT LAUNCH of CEPIC's new website
Klaus Plaumann, CEPIC Vice President
Dear Cepic Members and Friends of our Industry: As the Centre of the Picture Industry, we are happy to announce the soft launch of our new website on January 18th 2010. During the next few weeks there will be more input making the site more user friendly and informative for the membership.
Sincere thanks to Carola and Sylvie for your huge contribution to the communication agency Juno. The Hamburg based agency has created an easy to navigate, up to date, high end site. It features not only industry issues - copyright & IPR, Congress information and other valuable topics but also a blog for ALL OF YOU as contributors!
The new site shows how the new CEPIC commitee is working for our Industry, from still photography to new media, in a time of transition. From now on you will see video clips, many more photographs and more useful information.
Our goal is to motivate you to become an active part of the CEPIC Community. You can get started right now with inputing your ideas to the blog. We want you to share ideas, with lively discussions and comments about industry topics for the benefit of all members and other interested people.
We are looking for writers and authors for the different issues discussed on our website. Some of you have contributed editorial content already, the first one was Prof. Christian Donle, a Lawyer who will support CEPIC with important industry topics. Thank you very much, Professor!
If you want to become a CEPIC website author please let us now, we will support it and give you information you need. Let's become team players.
Now please have a look at the site and give us feedback. We hope that you like it as much as we do.
Sincerely,
Klaus Plaumann, Vice President
