AI: Legal Challenges in the US and in Europe
With increasing computing power, improved algorithms and the availability of massive amounts of visual data, Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) has the power to shape the digital marketplace for visual content creators and producers. This raises a number of legal questions around data and copyright ownership, permission and privacy issues.
The CEPIC panel will bring two legal experts from both sides of the Atlantic and a picture industry professional to answer these questions and share their experience.
- Sophie Gossens, Partner at Reed Smith LLP, copyright, digital media and technology expert – EU copyright law and public affairs specialist.
- Nancy Wolff, Partner at Cowan DeBaets Abrahams & Sheppard, LLP, Legal Counsel of DMLA
- Mark Milstein, Rainmaker at vAIsual & Managing Director at Microstocksolutions LLC.
