CEPIC in Working Group on IPR and Copyright Reform of European Parliament

On Wednesday 16th, Sylvie Fodor for CEPIC will participate on a panel discussion on online platforms organised by the working group on Iintellectual property rights and copyright reform at the European Parliament. The group is chaired by Jean-Marie Cavada.

CEPIC members are online platforms – in the large definition adopted by the EC – and holders of rights.

CEPIC participated in the public consultation on the regulatory environment for platforms, online intermediaries, data and cloud computing and the collaborative economy. CEPIC’s submission may be consulted in the Login Area of the CEPIC website. (HERE)

The panel on the copyright working group  will therefore be a great opportunity to present CEPIC’s point of view on platforms and their relationship with copyright holders as outlined in the CEPIC White Paper on the Protection of Image Providers Online.
