Piotr Ambroziak appointed Director International Marketing & Sales of epa

This was announced in Frankfurt today by epa’s President and CEO, Jörg Schierenbeck.

Ambroziak, 39, who holds a Master of Business Administration and a degree in law and intercultural studies, formerly worked as Commercial Director of epa’s shareholding agency PAP in Poland and was a member of epa’s Supervisory Board.

Piotr Ambroziak is the perfect executive to lead epa’s Marketing & Sales to the next important phase of our development, Schierenbeck said. Piotr, whom I have known for many years, knows the news agency business very well, is intimately familiar with the picture business, has proved his strength in developing the online business and last but not least: He knows epa and its enormous potential.

In mid-August, Piotr Ambroziak will take over the position of Director International Marketing & Sales from Sandra Boerma, 35, who decided to leave the company at the end of July after a total of nine years with epa to seek new professional challenges.

We thank Sandra for all her hard work in setting up epa’s global sales structure since 2003 and for successfully heading epa’s international business since 2003. On behalf of the colleagues in Frankfurt and abroad, I wish her all the best for her personal and professional future, Schierenbeck said.
