Since its inception in the 1960s IBL enjoys a solid market position, in Sweden as well as internationally. Daily newspapers, weekly press, magazines and book publishers are the company’s main clients.
The picture segment of the TT News Agency is growing, and will through this acquisition be able to offer an even more comprehensive archive and service. The very best Swedish and foreign picture providers will hereby be offered in one platform.
IBL is a family owned business with offices in Ängelholm and Stockholm, Sweden, founded in 1965 now owned by Lars and Nils Modie. In 2015 IBL acquired picture agency All Over Press, further strengthening its position in the magazine and weekly press segments.

Integration of the two picture archives into one common platform will be completed during 2018. IBL staff will move to the TT News Agency offices in the beginning of next year.
The new larger picture agency segment will also be given a new name: TT Images.
