Awareness- and Funraising webinar

On 30th March, CEPIC and EANA organised an Awareness and Fundraising Webinar.

We had 45 registrations, free and paid for, donations ranged from 10 € to 150€ and 940 € were raised.

Two funds were selected. It's still possible to donate if you wish to do so.

* 04.38-14.59': Oleksandr Kharchenko, CEO of Ukrinform on why Europe should support the work of journalists in Ukraine and what can be done against disinformation and propaganda.
* 15.00-39.20': Mircea Barbu, freelance journalist on why it is essential to support freelancers in a war zone for the impartiality of reporting. Mircea also shares some pictures when he left Marioupol.
* 39.21-59.53': Nick Fedirko, advertising photographer, testimony on how he experienced the invasion of his home town, Bucha, by the Russians and was able to flee. The testimony is preceded by a short YouTube video of Bucha, before and after the invasion. Nick red a very poignant short version of his experience. The full version will shortly be made available on the CEPIC website.
