In September 2018 Google introduced an important change for image rights holders in showing images online: creator, credit line and copyright notice of photos as filled in the IPTC fields are since displayed in the viewer right next to the image.
Since 28th May Google is going one step further and now also shows the image license together with a link to the webpage where the license to re-use the image may be obtained.
