On 8 November 2013 CEPIC supported by a large coalition of trade associtions in Europe and the USA lodged a claim for abuse of dominant position against Google at the European Commission. In December 2013, three trade associations from France and the Czech Republic and France had joined the coalition.
The coalition is now growing again with the SAIF , société des auteurs des arts visuels et de l’image fixe.
The SAIF has also sent its own contributions to the market test of Google’s proposals for remedies in the spring and autumn of 2014.
