On 8 November 2013 CEPIC supported by a large coalition of trade associtions in Europe and the USA lodged a claim for abuse of dominant position against Google at the European Commission. In December 2013, three trade associations from France and the Czech Republic and France had joined the coalition. In January French collecting society for visual arts SAIF confirms their support.
In January, the coalition continues to grow with the Union des Photographes Professionnels , French trade association representing 5.000 professional photographers.
