A year pandemic and two postponed CEPIC Congresses have left agents around the world craving for networking. BAPLA is therefore organising a “networking event” on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th October.
We are delivering a programme of monthly online events throughout 2021, focusing on topics hugely relevant to the image-licensing sector, especially licensing, marketing, trading in different markets, and copyright.
In October, we’ll be hosting ‘BAPLA Connect’ a new international networking event all under one virtual roof, taking place over two afternoons.
Day 1 of the event, Thursday 7 October, will be specifically for agencies and suppliers, enabling them to hold business meetings and share their latest content and services with each other.
Day 2, Friday 8 October, will be an opportunity for agencies to meet with picture researchers, editors and buyers to showcase their latest offerings.
On both days we will be hosting opening keynote sessions and closing panel discussions on essential industry topics, with Breakout Rooms available for networking in between. Each day will end with a social, where we will invite you to share pictures of your experiences from the past year. We will also host a Wellness Workshop in the main room while breakout sessions are running, to enable participants to have a pause in between meetings.
