CueSongs appoints CEPIC immediate past president image source’s Christina Vaughan as new CEO

Christina Vaughan joins CueSongs from award-winning Image Source, the leading independent image agency, which specialises in trend-driven stock imagery for inspiring communications, where as Founder and Chief Executive, she positioned Image Source at the forefront of the stock image revolution creating the leading global platform for distribution of premium royalty free imagery. Christina will remain as Chairman of Image Source but hands over day to day operations of the business to Anthony Harris, who becomes Image Source’s CEO. Christina was CEPIC President from 2009-2013 where she brought about revolutionary change at our trade body as well as revitalising and repositioning the annual CEPIC Congress as the de facto global networking event for our industry.

 As the new CEO of Cue Songs, Christina Vaughan will oversee the initial deployment and beta testing of the new CuePro platform, which last year won the Technology Strategy Board competition, receiving a substantial grant to develop its “Frictionless Music Licensing for Online Broadcast”.

 Ed Averdieck, co-founder of CueSongs together with musician and music pioneer Peter Gabriel, moves up into the role of Chairman. Ed comments on the appointment: “We got to know Christina Vaughan when we agreed to partner with Image Source in September 2013, and we have since had a very positive working relationship both with her and with Image Source.”
