Originally established in 1962, as the Ann Ronan Picture Library, The World History Archive comprises the archives of the World History Collection, Ann Ronan Science History Library and Edimedia Art and History Archive. The archive numbers around 500,000 digital or analogue images reflecting the following subjects: International history including the history of art; anthropology; medicine, civil engineering, communications, transport, warfare, politics; philosophy, music, literature and archaeology. World History Archive has a network of distributors in more than 25 countries.
