As a renowned industry expert, Robert is widely recognised for his insightful contributions to the field of stock photography. His blog, "Alltag eines Fotoproduzenten" (Everyday life of a photo producer), has been a cornerstone of knowledge sharing for over 16 years, offering invaluable insights into the intricacies of the industry. Additionally, Robert has authored the German standard work on stock photography, solidifying his status as a thought leader in the domain.

In recent years, Robert has delved into the realm of generative AI, exploring its implications for copyright law and intellectual property rights. His groundbreaking work in this area has led him to pursue legal action against the German AI association LAION e.V. for copyright infringement. Through his lawsuit, Robert seeks to address the unauthorised use of his images in AI training datasets, shedding light on the complex legal and ethical considerations surrounding AI-generated content.
