We are excited to announce Katharina Familia Almonte as a speaker at this week’s CEPIC Congress 2024 in Juan-les-Pins. With 13 years of experience at Google, Katharina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the discussion on AI and provenance in the digital landscape.
Currently serving as a Product Manager on Google Search for the past 4 years, Katharina is based in New York and collaborates with product teams across Google on their provenance strategy, particularly focusing on the impact of generated AI. Her extensive background includes launching an online startup at Bertelsmann in Berlin and Paris, as well as working at the German press agency dpa in Hamburg.
During her early years at Google in Dublin, Katharina closely engaged with large European publishers, gaining valuable insights into how new online trends and web technologies directly influence businesses’ strategic plans and daily operations. She is passionate about ensuring that new innovations benefit both end-users and the content ecosystem, leveraging her understanding of the image industry’s needs and concerns to inform Google’s product development efforts.
Join Katharina for her insightful session on AI and Provenance at 10:15 CET on Thursday, 16th May. Following the discussion, the conversation will continue with Katharina and other attendees in the Google Lounge area on the 2nd floor.
