Is AI copyrightable Part II

The CEPIC webinar discussing the copyrightability of AI output was well-attended and featured thought-provoking arguments from both sides of the debate.

There was more than 40 registrations. The condition to participate being that a questionnaire with three questions on AI output had to be filled, 20 made it to the finish line. The webinar was conducted under Chatham House rules, there was no recording and the response to the questionnaires was provided in an anonymised form.

Based on the feedback received, we decided to continue the conversation up until the CEPIC Congress in May.

CEPIC is therefore setting up an online interactive event to formally present the state of play when it comes to the copyrightability of AI around the world.

Find out from IP experts whether AI creations (output) can be protected by copyright laws in various regions of the world. Hear about the legal challenges faced by an AI artist in trying to copyright his AI art in India and in the United States.

The event is free to attend for CEPIC members.
Non CEPIC members will be charged 89, – €
