Dear Friends of CEPIC,
I trust that you have all had a good summer despite the challenging times of the Pandemic and the impact of Climate change. In a world without constants, CEPIC wants to be a steady hand of support to you, our industry and to your businesses.
As new President. I am delighted to serve CEPIC again and am committed to reinvigorating our industry, seeking out new opportunities and embracing change. CEPIC as an organisation is also changing and we are no longer just a European organisation but have re-registered in Brussels to allow us to welcome new members from across the world in order to reflect our global outlook as a visual communications industry that sees no boundaries.
We will be writing to you frequently in the coming weeks and months with all our new changes, enterprises and initiatives but I wanted to start this first message with some really exciting news! The CEPIC Congress is back – and we intend to get PHYSITAL*
We know how so many of you are itching to get back to society with some physical meetings and face to face socials so we are delighted to announce that C22 – Congress 2022 – will take place on the beautiful island of Mallorca next May 2022 from the 25th to 27th May – with the Welcome Reception on 24th May – at the stunning Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá overlooking Palma Marina.
We have already had much interest in supporting this Comeback Event from top global partners and are creating a programme unlike any other to bring us all back together as one exciting industry but also to embrace new businesses in visual communication,search,licensing and monetising as well as leading the way with the latest technology updates. Expect some very special guest speakers, a great programme but most of all the ability for you to mix and meet industry friends old and new with a glass of cava overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean sea in the sunshine.
We know it has been a very difficult couple of years with the Pandemic and that many of you have experienced personal loss and professional challenges but we also know that we are a resilient group and the CEPIC family is there for all of us to get back together again with strength, vision and positivity. We look forward to seeing you all next May but before that, you will be hearing much more from us and we welcome your ideas, thoughts and participation. CEPIC 2.0 will be a much more inclusive one and we look forward to welcoming new faces and businesses. This industry has looked after us for the last 30 years and we know, that the best is yet to come as we regroup, grow and embrace new opportunities.
