On 21 September at 22.00 H, CEPIC submitted a Response to the European Commission’s RFI (Request For Information) with regards to the relationship between picture agencies and Google Images.
The CEPIC Response was partially drafted on the basis of the results of an-online survey carried out in August. The full results of this survey will be circulated separately to all of those who have contributed.
CEPIC would like to warmly those picture agencies who have helped draft the CEPIC Reponse. This is a common effort and this is thanks to this common effort that we have gone that far!
This is one step forward towards a better protection of image providers online!
