Andrea Stern, co-founder of MOCA, will be moderating the Cultural Heritage Seminar which will be held on Thursday 26 May from 16:30 – 17:30 as part of the CEPIC Congress 2016.

Andrea is a visual content consultant, through her company ASA Ltd, and one of the founders of MOCA. She has worked in both the commercial and cultural heritage sectors for many years. From 2002-11 Andrea was Director of Assets and Rights Management and Head of V&A Images at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and prior to that co-founder and director of photo agency ASAP, Israel.  Currently under ASA Ltd., Andrea offers the services of image industry consultancy to the commercial and heritage sector, including Oxford University Images, Imperial War Museum, London, and Museum of English Rural Life at the University of Reading. 

Andrea’s consultancy work includes content management, event organisation, archive review and evaluation, and copyright training workshops. She has been the moderator of several CEPIC seminars in the past and have always enjoyed the process of finding the right team of panellists who are prepared to spar with and listen to the different views of their colleagues.  Andrea has stated ‘working with people is the best part of my work, and working to get everyone to communicate is what much of my work is about’.
