Prof Dr Thomas Höppner, Hausfeld, will be speaking at the CEPIC seminar “Google in the EU and the US: Search, Complaints and Licensing” which will be held on Thursday 15th June 2017 from 11:00 to 13:00h in Berlin at the Martim ProArte Hotel.
Prof Dr Thomas Höppner is a partner at the international law firm Hausfeld focusing on competition and copyright law in the technology and media sectors. Hausfeld is representing several complainants, including CEPIC and the OIP, before the European Commission in all pending competition investigations against Alphabet’s Google. Thomas is also closely involved in new European legislative initiatives for a better protection of content providers. He is lecturing intellectual property law at the Technical University Wildau and is a visiting professor for IT law at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
