Hanns-Peter Frentz will be speaking at the Cultural Heritage Workshop which will be held on Friday, 5th of June from 11:30h – 12:30h in the Saski Room during the CEPIC Congress 2015 in Warsaw.

Hanns-Peter Frentz has held various management positions within the Picture Industry for over 20 years. He was a long-term member of the Executive Board of BVPA, the German association of Photo Agencies. He is member of the German Society of Photography (DGPh) and leads the working group of the photo archives of the public sector in Germany.
Hanns-Peter became the director of bpk Photo Agency in 2004, an agency specialising in fine art, culture and history, and which is the central media service of the largest cultural foundation of Germany.
From 2008, the Agency has operated in cooperation with many world renowned art museums and libraries forming an ‘image bank of cultural institutions’, generating attractive revenues from commercial licensing of their collections. Among the foreign partners are the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Metropolitan Museum, Guggenheim NY, Uffizi Gallery, Vatican Museums, British Museum, V&A, British Library and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. In total more than 160 cultural institutions are already partners of the portal, with many more institutions seeking to join.
