Ewa Kijak will be speaking at the Technological Solutions for the European Copyright Directive and the Fight Against Fake News seminar on Thursday, June 6th at 9:30 to 11:30am.
Ewa Kijak is associate professor at the University of Rennes 1, France, pursuing her research in the IRISA/INRIA Rennes laboratory. She has a scientific background in image processing and computer vision. Her research interests are in the information retrieval field, covering topics from images description and indexing to security aspects of Content-Based Image Retrieval systems, as well as machine learning for computer vision.
With the support of the DGA, she recently investigated on the detection of fake information on social media.
