“Hello Delegates, I’ve just spent two days here in Juan Les Pins to help us prepare for Congress 2023 and I already can’t wait for May to come back to this beautiful little French town and see the conference in action. I started my trip visiting the Palais Des Congres, which is a lovely modern, naturally lit and open space. I think my favourite part was the sea views from the terrace where we will host our Welcome Reception Party and get to watch the sunset! After this, I headed across the road to the beach and walked along the peaceful seafront and chose one of the little Café/Bistros to sit and enjoy some French food with a spectacular view. And of course, a glass from the Cotes Du Provence region. Really looking forward to returning in May to spend more evenings like this and of course meeting you all. Getting to Juan Les Pins from the airport was a quick and smooth sailing journey, I arrived in an Uber after my flight and returned back on the bus, here is some information on the services available to you:
Taxi from the airport: 72€
Uber from the airport: around 35-38€, really easy to locate the driver by translating the messages on the Uber app. (Takes around 20 minutes)
Bus: service number 82 from terminal 2 – taking this service back you catch the bus from Regence bus stop (1.3km from Congress centre) right outside the Spar supermarket, this cost me 9.40€ and dropped me back at terminal 2, I then hoped on the tram for 1 stop to terminal 1 (a free connection).
Tram and Train: Hop on the L2 tram line to the train station, Nice St Augustin, where you get on the train to Juan Les Pins train station which takes around 20 minutes and costs 4,5€. Train station it is 550m (7-minute walk) to the Congress centre.
