Marie-Avril Roux is a certified lawyer in copyright and intellectual property law and for digital issues, a member of the Paris and Berlin Bars and founder of the first French-German IP/IT and entertainment law firm MARS-IP. A convinced European lawyer, she has a passion for the defense of creations and inventions and for their development in their alternative or collaborative forms and in new technologies. In 2021-2023, she supports CORINT MEDIA, a German collective management company that enforces the rights of broadcasting companies and press publishers vis a vis to internet users, in the rapprochement and conclusion of agreements with its European partners and counterparts. She is a French Foreign Trade Advisor and co-leads pro bono the FRENCH TECH BERLIN, in charge of supporting French-German start-ups and scale-ups in the tech industry. Author of numerous articles and trilingual lecturer, she is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, the University of Paris Panthéon Assas and holds an LL.M in German intellectual property law from the Humboldt University in Berlin.
