After an MA in modern literature at La Sorbonne University, her career focused on the promotion and distribution of the photographic image and services dedicated to photographers. Sylvaine has worked successively as Development Manager, Editor in chief and photographers’ Agent in press agencies, collectives of photographers and with established freelance photographers. She has led various editorial projects and partnerships for events and photo festivals in France. Since 2010, she is Commercial Director at PixWays, a leading French company in digital services for photographers and professionals from the press, publishing, communication and brand sectors. PixWays’ two key services are PixPalace, the French photo and video portal for all media and PixTrakk, a worldwide photo monitoring service in the press and on the web. Sylvaine is also in charge of the content of PixWays’ new project, NFiniTi, a NFTs sales platform dedicated to high quality photography. Sylvaine is Vice President of Gens d’images, an association founded in 1954 which brings together photography experts and enthusiasts and organises workshops and conferences. Gens d’images awards the prestigious Niepce and Nadar photography prizes each year.
