Olivier Brillanceau will be speaking at the seminar Le Marché et la Création. Market and Creativity Conference (in French) which is part of the CEPIC Congress. The seminar will held at the Salon l’Aveyron, Salle Levezou in Paris on 5 June 2019.
Olivier Brillanceau has been the Executive Director of SAIF (Société des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l’Image fixe) since its creation in 1999.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law of Poitiers (Magistère en droit des Techniques de l’Information et de la Communication), he has spent most of his career in the field of collective management of intellectual property rights and was legal director of the SPRE (Société civile pour la Perception de la Rémunération équitable) from 1993 to 1998, which is a joint company for performers and phonogram producers.
He is also directing several collecting and distribution societies such as the CFC (Centre Français du droit de Copie, which manages the reprography right), AVA (Société des Arts Visuels Associés) and SORIMAGE (Société pour la copie privée des arts visuels). Olivier Brillanceau has been a member of the Conseil Supérieur de la Propriété Littéraire et Artistique (CSPLA) since 2001.
