Marie Docher will be taking part in the roundtable discussion on The Challenge of Finding the Right ImageIt takes place on Wednesday, June 5th at 16:30 to 17:30.

Marie Docher is a photographer and film maker living in Paris, France. In 2014 she became a diversity advocate (gender, origins…) within the photography industry and she helped making significant changes in the representation of woman and diversity in festivals like the Rencontres d’Arles in 2019.

In 2016 she gathered image banks, picture editors, photographers and image researchers. This group worked for two years to define their expectations of a more equal and diverse photo industry. They experimented free tools which are technically simple for image banks to implement in order to make significant social changes: the MYX project.
