Sergi Griño will be speaking at The Challenge of Finding the Right Image seminar on Wednesday, June 5th at 16:30 to 17:30.
He started his career in the financial analysis department of a multinational company, and after that he fouded his own agency, ALBUM, in 1993 and since then he’s running the company.
ALBUM has its own material and represents material from other sources. Sergi had been the responsible for the transition from physical to digital of the company, all technological developments, international expansion -with more than 40 agents worldwide at present- and the financial management. He has been a member of the AEAPAF (Spanish association of image libraries and press agencies) during the last 20 years, being its President for 7 years. He is currently member of the board of the CEPIC committee and coordinates Album’s participation to EU funded projects, such as RDI and most recently ARDITO, where he also focused on workstreams around innovation, services and use cases.
Sergi holds a degree in Economics by the University of Barcelona, MBA by the University of Chicago and Business Administration by Fundació les Heures (University of Barcelona).
